Vincent Lambe


Vincent Lambe was born in Dublin and studied at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin, under artists Sean Keating, Maurice MacGonigal and John F. Kelly. He attended The School of Visual Arts, New York, and The New School for Social Research, N.Y.  He studied landscape painting with Grenville Cottingham (Kerry School of Landscape Painting} and Henry Healy, RHA.

He is a past president of The Water Colour Society of Ireland,  as well as a member of The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club and The Dublin Art Society. His work is to be found in collections in Ireland, England and The United States. He has worked as an Art Director in the advertising industry in Dublin and New York.

Vincent teaches groups and gives demonstrations and workshops. He paints in watercolours and oils favouring a free broad style and his subjects are landscape, animals, the nude figure, and still life.

Exhibited:
Vincent has had two solo exhibitions, along with: a joint Exhibition in New York, Kilakee Art Centre Summer Show, RHA Summer Exhibitions, Group Exhibition; Tattan Gallery, Joint Exhibition; Bective Gallery, Independent Artists Exhibition, An tOreachtas Summer Exhibition, and regular exhibitor with The Water Colour Society of Ireland, The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club and The Dublin Art Society.

He is the winner of The CDL National competition in watercolour,
The Amárach Consultants Award (WCSI 2006) and
The Whytes Auctioneers Award (WCSI 2009)
