Olivia Hayes
|
|
Olivia Hayes was born in
Dublin and completed a four year full time degree in
Design and a postgraduate year in Education at the National
College of Art and Design.During her studies at the NCAD
she won several awards and international
scholarships .Olivia has worked at the Kilkenny
Design Centre and taught art at
both second and third level. Her
main interest is watercolour painting and her
work mainly comprises landscapes of the West of Ireland
and Wicklow and streetscapes of Dublin.She has
had two sell-out solo exhibitions and exhibits in
several galleries in Dublin.
Olivia also exhibits throughout the year
in group shows and is an active member of
the Watercolour Society , The Dublin Painting &
Sketching Club, and The Dublin Art
Society.
Her paintings feature in corporate and
private collections throughout the world and
she has contributed to art publications.
Olivia organises workshops in
watercolours and painting holidays in Ireland
and on the continent, notably in Italy and France and in the
Burren, Co Clare. She conducts classes year-round in
Kilternan Co Dublin.
