George William Walsh
|
|
George studied at the National College of
Art Dublin and Belfast. He served a 7-year apprenticeship in Stained
Glass with his father G. Stephen Walsh in studios in Belfast and the
United States.
He works mainly in Stained Glass but has painted for several years,
working in oils, watercolour and collage. He has exhibitied in
the R.H.A., Leinster and Sandford Galleries, Dublin, Dublin Painting
& Sketching Club, The Water colour Society, Kilcock Art Gallery and
galleries in Malaga.
His work in both media-glass and painting can be found in numerous
collections here and abroad.
